1. Resident Physician

October 2023The doctor will report to the Senior Consultant and will be the Medical Lead for our home care service:

  1. take the lead in facilitating delivery of high-quality home care services;

  2. conduct home medical consultations / teleconsultations and clinical advice to individual patients;

  3. follow up with patients and ensure their wellbeing clinically;

  4. work closely with other medical professionals to support and ensure consistent approach and delivery of care services;

  5. lead the nursing and medical team in home care development and growth plan;

  6. help nurses triage existing and new cases (cases which require clinical / doctor's input);

  7. conduct pre-employment check for newly-hired staff under the group;

  8. keep abreast with changes in the local healthcare settings;

  9. represent the company to participate in external events and meetings;

  10. staff coaching and development.


Requirements

  1. MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent;

  2. GDPM (Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine) or equivalent will be preferred;

  3. Clinical experience of at least 5 years with any hospital;

  4. Valid Practising Certificate;

  5. Valid BCLS and AED; Experience in palliative/ home hospice will be preferred.

  1. Office Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 7.30pm

  2. After-office hours: Saturday / Sunday / Public Holidays

  3. The doctor will be rostered to work during office hours. Locum / per case rates will apply if required to work after-office hours

2. Staff Nurse (Oncology Clinic)

October 2023To work closely with clinic team of doctors and nurses in preparing our patients for consultation;

  1. Prepare patients for pre-consultation activity like drawing of blood and sending blood for laboratory analysis, etc.;

  2. Provide patient assessments, education, symptom management

  3. Collaborate with appropriate health team members for coordination of daily plan of care patients. Trace investigation results and assist to shorten the waiting time for patients at the clinic;

  4. Administer chemotherapy, multi-drug protocols, blood and platelets transfusion when required.

  5. Monitoring of patient's status throughout their entire stay at clinic as well as managing emergency situations

  6. Dispense medication to patients and advise them according to doctor’s instructions;

  7. Assist oncologists with treatment procedures and examinations.

  8. Help to monitor stock of medical consumables and place order;

  9. Improve treatment protocols for patients through participation in cancer research/trials;

  10. Coordinate for medical device maintenance with vendors;

  11. Any other duties assigned by doctor / nurse manager.


Requirements

  1. Valid practising certificate;

  2. Professional Certificate/NITEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Nursing or equivalent;

  3. At least 3 years’ relevant experience with 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting with direct patient care.
  4. Oncology experience is a plus-

  5. Able to access implanted ports, venipunctures and central catheter related devices

  6. Valid BCLS & AED certification/recertification.

Full-time
  1. Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm with alternate Saturday off; Saturday is 8.30 am to 1 pm;

3. Staff Nurse (Palliative Care)

October 2023The Staff Nurse for Palliative Care will work closely with doctor in executing the palliative home care plan for patients:

  1. assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for palliative patients in conjunction with the palliative and primary team;

  2. prepare patients for doctor's consult;

  3. support doctor in providing patient care;

  4. attend to enquiries from NOKs of patients;

  5. collaborate with home care team and healthcare professionals in the delivery of palliative home care to patients;

  6. help patients to transit from inpatient setting to home and to continue with the care for them thereafter;

  7. update home care team on patients' conditions and follow up;

  8. to ensure timely documentation and record keeping of nursing duties carried out.



Requirements

  1. Valid Practising Certificate;

  2. Valid Class 2 / 3 driving licence would be an advantage though not compulsory;

  3. Basic nursing skills including procedure (urine catheterization, NGT insertion, basic wound care, stoma care);

  4. At least 2 years of relevant experience in community / home care / palliative medicine train would be advantageous;

  5. Specialist / Advance Nursing Diploma in Palliative medicine;
  6. Valid BCLS & AED certification;

  7. Keen to explore and embrace new frontiers in palliative care;

  8. Flexible in working in different environment; home care / acute hospital setting;

  9. Keen interest in transition of care.
