Biography
Dr Muhammad Azrif Bin Ahmad Annuar, is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, at Prince Court Medical Centre and Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, where he has served since 2012. He attained his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from the Royal Free and University College Medical School, University of London, in 1997. He obtained his MRCP (Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK)) in 2000. He was awarded the FRCR (Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK)) in 2005. In 2006, he was admitted to the UK General Medical Council’s Specialist Register. In 2007, he completed a one year Clinical Research Fellowship at the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto, Canada.
Between 2007 and 2012, he was Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Senior Fellow at UKM Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. From 2006 to 2007, he served as the Clinical Research Fellow at Toronto-Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre, Toronto, Canada. Between 2001 and 2006, he was a Specialist Registrar in Clinical Oncology at Christie Hospital, Manchester, UK. He has also served as the Senior House Officer in Internal Medicine at Mid-Staffordshire General Hospital NHS Trust, UK; the Pre-Registration House Officer in General Surgery and Orthopaedics at Conquest Hospital, Hastings, UK; and as the Pre-Registration House Officer in General Medicine and Gastroenterology at Basildon Hospital, Essex, UK.
Dr Muhammad Azrif is also a well-published individual, having contributed to multiple journals, research papers, publications, and articles. He has also spoken at cancer and oncology-related functions and events.
Dr Muhammad Azrif was the President of the Malaysian Oncological Society between 2018 and 2021.
