Biography
Dr Kiley Loh is a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancers and cancer supportive and survivorship care, leading Curie Oncology’s services in Malaysia at the Penang Adventist Hospital.
Dr Loh graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005, before undergoing medical oncology training with the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Program at several Melbourne-based hospitals, including the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He joined National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) in 2014 after the completion of his training and went on to subspecialize in the field of breast cancers.
At NCCS, Dr Loh led the center’s cancer supportive and survivorship care initiatives and research to better support cancer patients through their treatment journey as well as into their long-term survivorship. His work and collaborations have resulted in the development of the ACCESS program at NCCS which proactively detects and addresses physical and psychosocial problems amongst cancer patients. Dr Loh has also led clinical trials to investigate novel approaches to reduce, prevent and better manage cancer treatment-related side effects.
Beyond his work in breast cancers and cancer supportive and survivorship care, Dr Loh is also passionate in the field of cancer education leading to various education leadership roles at NCCS. He was the Director of Cancer Education and Information Services as well as the Deputy Director of Undergraduate Education with the Division of Cancer Education.
In 2021, Dr Loh joined Curie Oncology to lead its services in Malaysia at the Penang Adventist Hospital. He continues to subspecialize in breast cancers and remains a visiting consultant with NCCS’ Division of Supportive and Palliative to continue his work in cancer supportive and survivorship care.
