Results are best with chemotherapy regimens such as weekly Paclitaxel. Scalp cooling reduces scalp temperature to approximately 14 degrees centigrade during your chemotherapy infusion. In many patients, cooling the scalp to 14 degrees is sufficient to prevent hair loss.
